Burhan Amer was born on March 18, 1960 in Tubas, Jordan.
After studying civil engineering at Tongji University in Shanghai, Burhan Amer moved to Belgium in 1987.
His scientific training did not prevent Burhan Amer from having a great artistic sensitivity, both pictorial and literary.
Burhan has written many poems published in Arabic and a novel in French "The Butterfly of Palestine".
His unique experience as a tireless traveler, across 5 continents, inspires him throughout his paintings.
Burhan introduces us to the different cultures that color his inner world of bright tones, shimmering splashes and uniformly colored surfaces in light gradations.
